疯马秀视频offers course information session for Year 12s
疯马秀视频 will offer a new service to Year 12 students by holding course information nights at the 疯马秀视频Ipswich and St Lucia campuses to coincide with the release of the Year 12 OP scores.
UQ's Courses and Admissions manager Claron Driscoll, said the information nights would give students, who would by then know their OP scores, the opportunity to review and discuss their course options with University staff.
The deadline for changing course preferences with the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre in time for first-round offers is Monday January 4 1999.
Ms Driscoll said the session at each campus would cover career planning, changing preferences, upgrading entry scores, and other alternative pathways for entry to University of Queensland courses.
"The information nights will inform prospective students and parents about the University, and I hope help alleviate any anxieties about making decisions affecting tertiary study applications, especially for competitive courses," Ms Driscoll said.
"There will be plenty of time for questions and informal discussions with University Courses and Admissions and faculty staff."
The manager of the 疯马秀视频Ipswich campus Warren Kerswill said the 疯马秀视频Ipswich information night would be held at the new campus at Ipswich in Building One, Room 340 on Monday, December 21 commencing at 7pm.
"The campus is in the final stages of construction and fit-out, however facilities for the course information night will be available, Mr Kerswill said.
"Visitors will be able drive into the 疯马秀视频Ipswich campus via the newly-upgraded Salisbury Road entrance and there will be plenty of parking," he said.
The St Lucia information night will be held on Wednesday, December 23 at the University's Abel Smith Lecture Theatre, St Lucia commencing at 7pm. Parking is free after 6.30pm.
Students can also call the 疯马秀视频Info-Line (07/3365 2203) between 9am-5pm on the weekdays of the Christmas-New year holiday break. The Info-Line will be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
