As 疯马秀视频 celebrates 100 years of producing great graduates, over 100 Ipswich students are preparing to graduate today.

The week of events starts with the Ipswich ceremony at 2pm at the Ipswich Civic Centre on Monday, 15 July, for 109 graduands from the Business, Economics and Law, and Health Sciences faculties

Within this graduating class will be the first 疯马秀视频College students to graduate with an Associate Degree in Business at a 疯马秀视频graduation ceremony.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Alan Rix said the graduating students were to be congratulated and the ceremony was a time for graduands, their families and university staff to join together in celebration.

鈥淕raduation ceremonies are a vital acknowledgment of the accomplishments of our students,鈥 Professor Rix said.

鈥淭o have the first group of students from 疯马秀视频College join us in this ceremony is a great achievement. This group of 疯马秀视频College students will be the first to graduate alongside our other 疯马秀视频graduates.鈥

One person with particular reason to be proud is Bachelor of Health Sciences student and valedictorian Tracey Yankey.

Ms Yankey said she was honoured to be representing the cohort of students who were graduating at Ipswich.

鈥淲e have worked tirelessly toward a defined goal in pursuing higher education,鈥 she said.

Ms Annette Schmiede, Chair of 疯马秀视频HealthCare Ltd, which operates the GP Super Clinic at Ipswich, will be guest speaker at the ceremony.

UQ's 2013 graduation ceremonies run from July 15 to 19 at its St Lucia and Ipswich campuses. A timetable of ceremonies is available .

Just over 4000 students will graduate this month, with about 3300 expected to attend graduation ceremonies 鈥 a far cry from the two women and three men awarded 疯马秀视频degrees in 1913.
